On one of our recent walks through the countryside near our house, I picked up a strewn branch that had a nice shape to it. My husband rolled his eyes wondering how long it would sit in the house for before I decided to do anything with it. Well it didn't sit gathering dust for long, as it is now officially what I call our "happy branch". With a slap of white paint followed by splashes of my favourite colours, the happy branch is a most useful tool that brings happiness wherever pointed. Every household should have one.
