Summer Madness

Well hello there! Sorry it's been a while since I last blogged. This month has been mad. I've graduated from uni, been on holiday for some much needed r&r, bought a house and also started a new job as a designer. Wow, pretty crazy when I look back at it like that. With all this summer madness I've had strict orders this weekend to relax as I can't sit for 5 minutes without getting fidgety and wanting to be productive. I tried, but failed. Inspired by my "sew&save" postcard, I decided to get my sewing machine out. 

In our new house we have a separate toilet and let's just say the romance in a relationship can deteriorate quite rapidly with the poor privacy of a glass door - I need say no more. It really is a lovely door but something had to be done and so with some pretty fabric I created two double sided panels that work a treat. 

Loving living in a period house and looking forward to doing it up room by room, all of which I'll keep you updated on! It's very much "retro" at the moment with crazy carpets and wacky tiles. Just check out this wardrobe in our second bedroom. Think I might keep it!

Anyway, that's all for now folks but now that crazy July is out of the way, I shall be back on fine form to report from the new Pringle quarters. You may have noticed the Pen&Pringle online shop has closed but only as a temporary measure whilst we get settled and organise Pen&Pringle's products. I shall keep you posted once it is open again.
